Welcome
Welcome the Mediation North. We are a network of mediation services that work across the region (Yorkshire and Humberside). We work cross sector (from voluntary sector based services to council services) and cross discipline (community mediation services, restorative justice, workplace mediation etc).
The network provides us with a chance to share information and good practice, issues and challenges; we are also all champions of conflict resolution and feel that together we have a stronger voice.
Working together also provides us with opportunities for collaborative and partnership work which benefits us all.
We meet as a network every couple of months for an informal meeting and many of us meet outside of network meetings for informal collaborative work. We also oversee the organization of an annual conference, and usually one service or a small working group takes responsibility for organizing this.
We rely on the active involvement of member services and organizations and we aim to provide a valuable local network that supports the mediation sector across the north.
